Lighthaus uses colored filters to create an interactive experience of color that shifts dramatically throughout the day. Although only three colors of panels are used in construction, the angle of the light and relative translucency of the panels create a spectrum of color: red, magenta, orange, yellow, gold, green, and even some blue on the interior.
Visitors can investigate the interaction of color + light through the effect of the light on their skin + clothing. The interactive object’s blue interior allows visitors to further investigate new color relationships.
